The Seawitch wand was carved from a block of Ipe, a type of Ironwood. I used various hand tools and some rotary tools. The finish is raw beeswax over a 2000 grit surface finish. Very balanced around the grip and swishes very nicely as a result. (The runesmith is not responsible for magical shenanigans resulting from errant swishing) The tip is fashioned from a solid copper spotwelding tip. Many thousands of volts have passed through this piece of metal and as such, the wand lends itself well to sorcery in the electro-magnetic spectrum.
